Run, Jump, Ride & Play Event Benefits Women Supporting Women - May 22, 2006 EASTON, MARYLAND (MAY 22, 2006) – On Saturday, June 10th, at the VFW parking lot in Easton , Maryland, there is going to be a fundraiser called " Run, Jump, Ride and Play" from 9 a.m until 3 p.m. It's going to be a day of fun for the whole family with the funds raised benefiting 'Women Supporting Women', a breast cancer support chapter being formed in the Easton area. The event will include multiple relay races, hippity hop ball endurances, pogo stick events, bicycle relays, motorcycle skill events, old fashion two legged races, pie eating contests, duck ponds, skill game booths, face painting, food, drinks, a yard sale and a cake/dessert wheel. There will be loads of prizes and fun! Now is the time to find someone to sponsor you or your group for one or more of the events. Prizes will be awarded to top fund raisers and event winners. 'Women Supporting Women' began in Salisbury, Maryland and has remained an independent, grass roots non-profit organization that keeps its funds in the local community. We are bringing a chapter to Easton that will serve Talbot, Caroline, Queen Anne, and Dorchester Counties.
