| A Tribute To Patsy Cline,is mesmerizing audiences up and down the East Coast. Shelley Abbott's ability to practically reincarnate the immortal Patsy Cline amazes even the most sceptical. Shelley captures the hearts of all who love and remember Patsy through song and story.
The show begins with a simulated news cast from WSM Radio in Nashville, Tennessee the morning after the airplane crash that claimed the lives of Patsy Cline and her entourage that was accompanying her back home after a benefit show in Kansas City. The audience is asked to share in the wonderful world of imagination.... What if there had been no plane crash, no deaths? What if Patsy had lived to enjoy the fame she created by her songs over the past 40 years? What if Patsy was still alive? The audience is asked to share this fantasy, as Abbott takes the stage in traditional Patsy Cline costume, to perform over 20 songs of the country music star that death could not kill. Club, convention hall or theater, is the appropriate setting for this production.
