| Shelley was born in Newbern, North Carolina and raised on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. After graduation, and she enlisted in the Womens Army Corps, and traveled a few years before returning to Maryland to pursue a very successful singing and songwriting
career. She formed her first band and produced her first recording, "Pretending You Still Care" in 1975. Produced on her own label, Crystal Blue Records, it was sold locally and aired on several radio stations. In 1978 Shelley wrote and produced her first album titled "Changing Seasons". Despite regularly scheduled appearances and solid bookings, she claims, "pleasure and not money", inspired her. (HA!) The band played weekend gigs in Maryland, Delaware and Pennsylvania for more than 8 years, prior to her performing for the next several years with a variety of local bands. Shelley worked full-time as a dock manager at two of the busiest marinas in St. Michaels, Maryland. It was during this time she was dubbed with the title of "The Singing Dockmaster" by transient boaters and aquaintances. Shelley was interviewed by several radio and television stations after her release of an album titled "Aqua Toons I and II. Inspired by three years of living aboard a sailboat, which created an experience of sailing from the Chesapeake Bay to the Bahamas with a friend, and almost ten years of dealing with the boating world, she wrote and produced the two albums of whimsical nautical parodies. Shelley began a full-time musical career in 1993 when she ventured into a solo act, using pre-recorded music to complete her vocal and guitarist skills. Seven albums, and thousands of performances later, Shelley performs full stage as a vocalist and guitarist. Her voice has an optium range which allows her to perform any song for any occassion. Shelley's ability to imitate such greats as Patsy Cline, Brenda Lee, Conway Twitty, Elvis, , and many more leave audiences astonished. Her most recent show, A Tribute To Patsy Cline,is mesmerizing audiences up and down the East Coast. Her ability to practically re-incarnate the immortal Patsy Cline amazes even the most sceptical. Shelley captures the hearts of all who love and remember Patsy through song and stage presentation. Catering to most any age group singing songs from every decade of the past to the most recent dance and country Shelley is surely one of the hottest entertainers on the circuit.
